The Jointer Plane is a long plane with a handle at the back. The Plane has a blade with a chipbreaker and is used for the flattening and smoothening of large surfaces. The chipbreaker breaks chips from the planed material and removes them away from the planed surface. The bed angle is 45 degrees.
